About Me

I offer a therapeutic relationship that is compassionate, authentic and non-judgmental. Life might be feeling harder than usual. Together we can explore what it’s like to be you, and what matters most to you, in your way, at your pace.

I bring experience in public sector policy, leadership and coaching to my counselling and psychotherapy work. I’ve lived, studied and worked in four different countries and have experienced many of life’s transitions myself. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation of how change can shape our sense of identity, belonging and relationships.

I have wide experience working with people undergoing life and identity transitions e.g. divorce, bereavement, relocation, menopause and recent diagnoses of autism and ADHD. People have sought support with work-related issues such as career change, redundancy and burnout. I also hold a particular interest in working with parents who might be supporting their children through tough times and finding themselves in need of some support too.

Practice Description

Trained in humanistic counselling and psychotherapy, I don’t see people as having problems to be fixed. I see each person as having their own unique story, relationships and experiences. The therapeutic relationship is central to our work. I aim to offer a warm, relational space where you can share your thoughts and feelings openly.

Together we can explore what’s troubling you, while gently considering how earlier relationships and experiences may continue to influence the way you see yourself, how you relate to others and how you experience the world. Through understanding yourself better, new perspectives and possibilities can often begin to emerge. Meaningful and lasting change - whatever that might look like for you - can be possible.

Where Shall We Begin?

I invite you to get in touch and we can arrange a brief introductory call. Here we will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping for in our work together, and to see if we’re a good match. Research consistently links therapy outcomes to the therapeutic relationship, so it’s important for both of us to assess whether we're a good fit. If we decide to continue, we'll agree a mutually convenient weekly session.
